As far as eyes go I like to paint them last but I usually paint them gray and highlight them in white, then I apply a couple of coats of wash of the color I want them to be, IE blue or red, it works for bold colors like that.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070238698927689134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6855842206186604030.post-16440298563298226572011-10-05T02:37:24.193+00:002011-10-05T02:37:24.193+00:00Nice job on the weathering. I'll do the base color on the helmet, then go in to do the eyes. Any slop-over is cleaned up when I do the next highlighting step on the helmets.

Keep up the great work!Mordian7thhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04631987711681654113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6855842206186604030.post-39889621636314683682011-10-04T14:48:21.771+00:002011-10-04T14:48:21.771+00:00yup definately makes a difference.

It's waaaaay easier. All you need to do is add some brighter red in the inside corner, then a tiny white dot on the outside corner. It doesn't matter if it's sloppy, because you can tidy it up as you paint the rest of the helmet. :-)The Megapopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15127036057462975805noreply@blogger.com
